A booking becomes final once the tenant has paid a deposit amounting to 25% of the total rental price. Upon receipt of this payment, both parties’ commitments are considered binding, and the final rental agreement will be sent to the tenant, who must return a signed copy to Anne-Emmanuelle Thion.
If two tenants express interest in booking the same property, the reservation will be granted to the person whose deposit is received first.
The full amount of the rental price, the tourist tax, and any additional services will be required:
• One month before the start of your stay, for any booking made more than one month in advance.
• Immediately upon booking, for any reservation made less than one month before the start of the stay.
A security deposit of €1,500 per accommodation (not charged) will be required at the time of booking.
This deposit cannot be considered as payment, even partial, of the rental amount.
The security deposit may be paid via PayPal or by cheque, at the tenant’s discretion. It will not accrue interest. If the deposit proves insufficient, the tenant agrees to pay the difference.
The deposit will be returned within 10 days after the tenant’s departure, minus any deductions for damages, unpaid services, or lost keys.
If the deposit was paid by cheque, the cheque will be destroyed after verification.
The tourist tax, collected on behalf of the local authorities, is not included in our rates.
In the event of cancellation within 30 days prior to arrival or failure to occupy the premises on the agreed date without prior notification to the owner, the full rental payment (deposit and balance) shall remain due. Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival shall result in the loss of the deposit only.
